New Pics of Mason's Nursery

Here are a few pictures of Mason's nursery as of last night! Jeff has been busy putting up wall art and shelves the past couple of nights! He is an awesome husband and I know he will be a great Dad! I can't wait to see him with Mason!

Induction and Baby Showers

Jeff and I went to another doctor's appointment on Wednesday and the doc and I set an induction date. Jeff and I will check into the hospital next Sunday night at midnight (actually Monday morning the 20th). I am excited, nervous and scared to death! The crazy thing is that my cousin who is also pregnant is being induced Monday morning at 8:00 am. Our family is going to be running around crazy trying to see both babies. I thought it was going to be a long shot that they would be born the same week...and now...the same day!!! Crazy! Please pray for both Deanna and I and our baby boys...and that everything will go well and we will have two healthy baby boys to bring home!

I was uploading some pictures today and just remembered that I never posted any pics of our baby showers. We were blessed to have had 3 and are still amazed how good our family, friends and church have been to us. Just last Sunday we had a shower at church...and were blown away! The ladies of the church cooked a huge Italian meal and had a cake made for Mason. There were about 60-70 people there and we received a ton of gifts, gift cards and not to mention all the money people gave as a love offering. Jeff and I couldn't quit talking about how amazing our church has been to us. It will take me forever to send everyone a "Thank you" card! A couple of weeks ago the ladies that I work with also gave me a shower complete with food, cake, gifts and enough money to buy our monitors and other things for Mason. The first shower back in July was the shower that our family gave us and again, we were blessed. Mason already has so many people who loves him and are very eager to meet him. I know Jeff and I can't wait!

I plan on staying busy this week cleaning and doing last minute "nesting" before Mason gets here! We have two doctor's appointments this week...our last one is on Thursday...and I don't have to go back to work until after Christmas!

FULL TERM!!!

Today we are celebrating because we are officially FULL TERM!!! I am extremely blessed to have had an A+ pregnancy thus far...considering everything Jeff and I went through before getting pregnant with sweet little Mason. I've held onto the saying on my key-chain that hangs on my rear-view mirror that "God keeps His promises." He has done that and more for us. I went to the doctor on Monday and my fluid levels were 12, no protein in my urine, and my blood pressure was great! Even better...Mason is doing wonderful and now we are just praying that labor and delivery goes as smoothly:) My last day of work is the 10th and then Mason and I will enjoy several months of "mother-son time." (I love the sound of that:) I will not be going back to work until after Christmas! Jeff and I are blessed to be able to do this financially and also knowing that I will be able to return to my awesome job is a huge comfort!

Please continue to pray for us...I have an appointment tomorrow and hopefully Mason will be arriving soon!
